STORBOX is locally owned and operated and opened in the summer of 2001. We further expanded our facility in 2007 with the completion of our new 4-story addition. We offer the newest storage facility in the San Gabriel Valley and the largest selection of units. We take pride in our business and are continually striving to improve ourselves. We believe we offer a product and service second to none. We are active in the local communities we live in and support numerous local charities, most notably Foothills Family Services and South Pasadena Education Foundation.

We also offer the San Gabriel Valley's largest wine storage facility with over 13,000 square feet of private wine storage. This state-of-the-art facility provides monitored temperature and humidity controlled wine storage in both individual lockers and walk-in cellars. And, of course, we provide storage for cars, recreational vehicles and boats.

Is STORBOX a

STORBOX is a "green" facility. Electrical demand is reduced by use of motion sensors, photo cells or celestial timers throughout our buildings as well as skylights.  All roofing systems are "Cool roofs" as you can see from Google maps via satellite images. Water consumption is reduced through the use of drought tolerant plants and low flow toilets.

How many months do I have to sign up for?

All units are rented on a month-to-month basis with a minimum rental of one-month. You can store almost anything – Appliances, books, business inventory, files, furniture, household goods, motorcycles, office furniture, vehicles and any other non-perishable/non-combustible goods. You rent the unit and you control who has access.

We offer affordable standard storage units, climate-controlled units, vehicle storage and wine storage.

What size units do you offer?

Our self-storage units range in size from 4’ x 5’ (20 sq. ft.) to 10’ x 30’ (300 sq. ft.). Our parking spaces range from 18’ to 36’. We offer wine storage from 8 case lockers up to 488 case walk-in cellars.

Do I provide the lock and who has access?

You can provide the lock yourself or we have a wide assortment of quality, affordable locks available for purchase. All units are alarmed, we provide you with a unique code that disarms the alarm before you access your unit and will reset your alarm when you exit the property. You control who has access your unit. You have the right to give your key and alarm code to others if you want them to have access.

What do I need to bring to complete the leasing process?

Identification

  • Current drivers license or US Passport with a street address. If no street address is available, then proof of residency, for example, a utility bill or bank statement, is acceptable.

Alternate contact name, address and phone number – in case of emergency.

Payment by cash, debit, check or credit card.

In less than 15 minutes you will be ready to move in!

How does the Free Moving Truck Rental program work?

On units 100 sq. ft. or larger, we offer free full day use of a move-in truck. On units 50-99 sq. ft., move-in truck use is free for a ½ day.

The truck must be returned unloaded before 1pm or before 5:30pm, depending on whether you use it in the morning or afternoon.(returned by 4pm Sunday)

A deposit is required.

The driver must be at least 18 years of age, and provide a valid CA driver’s license and proof of insurance.

If there are any problems with the vehicle, just call our office and we will provide roadside assistance.

How can I use the moving carts and dollies?

At STORBOX we make moving easy. We provide free use of over 30 carts and dollies, conveniently located at every entrance.  We even have a pallet jack available should you need it.

What is a loading dock and what is the benefit to using one?

Loading docks provide a way for trucks and pickups to unload quickly, easily and more safely without using ramps or waiting for a truck lift.  At STORBOX we offer two loading docks, one at each end of the building for your convenience. All docks are fully equipped with dock levelers to bridge the transition from the height of your truck bed to the floor.

Do you have boxes and moving supplies available?

We have everything you need for your move. Visit our supplies page for a list of moving and storage supplies we carry.

Do you offer RV, Boat and Auto Storage?

We have both outside and interior storage for most vehicles.

How can I pay my bill?

Autopay:
This is the most convenient way and it charges your account monthly. You can discontinue at any time.  Monthly rent is deducted from your credit, debit, or checking account automatically.

What if I'm moving out?

Please provide at least 2 weeks' notice of a move, particularly if you have automatic billing.

If you move out within 10 days after your billing date and give us 2 weeks' notice, we will prorate your rent for up to 10 days. If you move out more than 10-days after your billing date, we charge a full month’s rent as is industry practice.
